How much do alterations cost at Davids Bridal for bridesmaid dresses?

I have my girls in this weekend for my engagement party. Ultimately, this will be the best time to have them pick out a dress and be fitted for the wedding. I have called around and got a few prices on a bill levcoff I liked for a bridesmaid dress but before alterations its going to be $189. I didnt want my girls having to spend over $200 in total for a dress. I saw a few dresses on the Davids Bridal website that were around 120-140 dollars. Does anyone know approxiamately much they charge for alterations? TIA!

I don't know what they charge, but search around on the website here b/c I know a few girls had problems with the seamstress from one of the David's Bridals.

You are probably better off just going to your local taylor and getting it altered. I bought a bridesmaid's dress at DB a few years ago and that's what I did. It cost me 20 dollars to take it in and up.

I'm going to Burton's in Melville instead. I just heard yet another negative review from a friend of mine about Davids. That did it for me.
