My wedding hall is quoting me $1200 for the cake below...I know it is a lot of work since the lace detailing is actually done in sugar and is all hand done...Is that a lot?

We will probably have about 260-270 guests....haven't gotten back all of the RSVP cards yet.

well what does your rh know it as...cake prices are per person so thats how they probably estimated that. If thats the case that is actually a REALLY good price bc its under $5 a slice and most are more than that

well what does your rh know it as...cake prices are per person so thats how they probably estimated that. If thats the case that is actually a REALLY good price bc its under $5 a slice and most are more than that
Oh wow...We guaranteed 250 but confirmed with them that there will most definitely be atleast 260 since 80% of the response cards are back (and yes' YIKES)
So even at 250 for 1200 its still under $5 a slice So excited! Thanks so much!

yeah thats pretty good then, if you would've gone elsewhere it would've been a bit more so nice deal. Beautiful cake too

in the city that same cost was quoted at $2200
I think because the cake was included in our package they had to make it less. Either way Im happy because I get my cake (which looks like my dress) and it is at a decent cost
