How much do I give

I am my friends maid of honor. I am curious how much money as a gift I should give...Keep in mind I am paying for a lot like makeup, hair, nails, dress, party, ect...Thanks!

I'm giving my friend $250 and im not in the wedding, so I would prob give $300 or more if I was the maid of honor

I had gotten $600 from my moh and an average of $500 from my bridesmaids who brought guests...

I gave both of my sister and my cousin $500 and I paid for all of the other things like dress, makeup clothes hair etc.

When I was the moh in a wedding 3 years ago I gave $250 because I was in a tight money situation. My fh was just in a wedding and we gave $400....

Third this, for my sister's wedding, after the gifts, shower and bachelorette party, I was tapped out, I could only afford to give her $350. I went by myself, but I wished I could give more for my sister but just couldn't.

I am my sister's MOH. For her e-party we gave $300. I am going to be paying for the shower, etc, so I will probably give around $500 for the wedding.

I say give what you can afford. Whatever it is will be sufficient. Being MOH does not mean you have to give a more extravagant gift. Especially if you can't really afford it right now. I think she would understand. I don't think your friend asked you to be her MOH so you could give her a big gift.
