How much do invitations cost???

Anyone?? I am clueless..we really like the envelopments but will they cost us an arm and a leg? We haven't even begun to look...

we just started looking too. It really depends on what kind of invite you want, and how many layers of paper it has. If you go simple (one sheet of paper ) it'll probably cost around $300-$400 (based on about 150 invites)

what are envelopments? it really depends what you want to spend.

i did classy ones-but did not get the lining in the envelope. i did not do pocketfolds. i did not get the return address flap thing i REALLY wanted. i just got the basic. and they cost 1000 for 125 invites. but that is also with thank you cards.

Mine are in my album. I got 100 invites with lined returned address envelopes, reception cards, RSVPs w/ address and it was less than $250.

All I have to do is find a Calligrapher or do them myself

We're DIYing ours and I think it will end up being about $350 for all of the paper goods--2 layer invite, rsvp card, direction card, menus, programs, favor tags, and placecards....

It depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. I've seen invitations from Costco and David's Bridal that are as low as $100 for 100 (some possibly lower, but I didn't like those ones!). It really depends on what you want. I think pocketfolds are on the higher end. I'll probably end up spending around $2 each...but that's my priority. Some people spend in excess of that.

Personally, I'd rather have a few nights in a B&B with FH than expensive invitations...but, as I said, I don't care about invitations!

we're getting ready to order and i totaled it up...should be around $250 for 100 w response cards & printed addressed envelopes.

well for 125 pocketfolds with invitations and background matting, diamond metallic envelope it would be about $322.50 for sepereate response card and envelope set add about $75
reception cards add $40, custom cutting for invite $14 plus tax and shipping ur looking at almost $500...most places are allowed to do the maxx discount of 10% which could bring your total to about $466

thats directly from my quote sheet for envelopments.

a cheaper route is cardsandpockets.com...their pocketfolds are just $1

YEa me too, but my MOH spent about $750 on hers and she got them AT COST because one of our friends owned an invitation store (she's sold it since then)
