I want a wreath of flowers to put at the base of a candelabra. I am suppling the candelabra and candles.
The wreath is just one of those green foam circles with flowers in it...we are concerned with the quotes we've gotten...
How much / what was the range for low floral cps in your quotes?

I've only gotten one floral quote...and they were $140 for low cps. What florist did you go to?

Depending on what type and how many flowers you use, I would say that is definitely possible for you to stay within the $50 range, particularly if you look into having a local florist do your flowers as opposed to the popular wedding florists.

I got something like this for xmas dinner last year for $60. It's mostly roses but i think flowers are more expensive during the winter. I would expect more for a wedding even if it's during the spring.

Like a lot of the PPs have said, it's going to depend on the flowers you choose and the season. Based on the information you have provided, your use of the non-floral elements whould bring the price down. Unless you're using out of season or flowers that are expensive all year round, I would be shocked if you were bring presented with triple-digit quotes--again, based on your info.
What kind of flowers were you hoping for? Did the florists discuss why the price was out of line with your expectations? Maybe's it's a labor issue in terms of assembling the centerpieces with the non-floral parts?
