For a 10 day honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico?
We have already paid the airfare and hotel, but for food, drinks, day trips, etc... how much will we need??

When we were in Mexico, we noticed if we said we were from Kentucky, we were quoted cheaper prices on souvenirs and jewerly and stuff. Def don't tell them you are on your honeymoon and and from NY - they will think you are

Well it also depends on how much you want to spend on souvenir shopping, and other things that are not included in your package. And it also depends on how expensive Mexico is. I always bring extra bec you never know

do a quick travelocity or expedia search and see what kind of deals they have. that way you can negotiate with the travel agent to get a better deal if it's cheaper elsewhere.

I would think $2k-2500, depending on how much shopping you want to do. I would also have a credit card on you in case of emergencies (or if you find something that you just have to have that is $$$! )
