I know it's a running expectation for BM dresses to be horrendous -- probably a combo of wearing someone else's taste in clothing, in a color you might not normally want to wear, and in a style not specifically focused on you and your body -- usually of poor quality too.
However, in most cases you'd expect the bride to like the dress since she picked it!

I like them. They are very plain, simple, yet still elegant. I didn't pick them though (my Aunt did).

Originally I liked them but didn't love them -- I hated the spaghetti straps but my girls picked the style and I wanted them to be happy.
As time passed I hated the straps even more, and when I went with one BM for her fitting she hated the straps too (uncomfortable bc of their placement, and ugly) so we had them made removeable. Turns out the other girls prefer it w/out the straps as well so I am veeeery happy! Now I love the dress!
It looks like I might end up with one for myself because I ... 'fired' a BM and took over responsibility for the dress. I might try to sell it, but I love the dress so much and maybe I can find an occasion to wear it? I have a wedding next year (the bride said I can wear it) but it's still a little fancy for my current needs...

good question- I like mine- I really wanted to do strapless but my girls are all a little different in body type and one is large on top, so we got a halter top & a cinched waist which will be flattering on them all.
imo- its about 17,000,000 times better than the ones I have had to wear!

I loved my girls BM dresses! I told them to pick their own neckline, so hopefully they liked them as well! I purposely chose a non wedding like BM dress in hopes they could wear them again. They were jcrew dresses in espresso brown.
I like mine so much that I told my sister I would 'hold' on to hers so she didn't have to take it back to Arizona!

i loved their dresses and said i wanted one for myself hahaha. I also loved my MOH's dress and when packing for the HM i thought of asking to borrow it hahaha but i didn't, didnt need it anyways

i picked the color and told them to decide on the dresses and they all decided to wear the same dress and its flattering on all, i have a variety of girls so everyone is happy
