I really dont want to spend more than 1000, I figure its just one day and I can find something beautiful that won't put me in the poorhouse! I say that now, but I know I am going to fall in love with some ridiculous 5000 dollar dress when the time comes

ok so i spent $2400 already and thats not with alterations. but my dress doesnt need a bussle because it has a detachable train.

Is your dress the demitrios in your album? My sis bought that dress as well.. at macys for 1500+ tax. Do you think the tops are the same and the bottom of the dresses could be diff? Huge price diff!!

I saw a dress on Target.com for $89.99

My sister's dress was $3000. My sister-in-law wore her sister's dress and she had a family friend do the alterations, so it cost her about $30.

So, I'm hoping I can get something in between that range!

I had a budget of 1200 for my dress but I felt in love with one that cost less than 800 (w/ out alteration) so is the only thing that I had got under my budget :P

My mom paid for my sister's dress and my sister wound up getting a very inexpensive dress (under $800) so I feel bad asking her to pay more... I think I'm going to have her give me only what she gave my sister (to be fair) and pay the rest myself. I'd like to keep the dress under $1500 though.

My mom offered to pay for my dress so it was important for me to find something that wasn't outrageous. My dress came out to about $800 without alterations, so I'm VERY happy!!
