on shower gifts for your friends? i have been to a couple of showers ... but they have either been family or family friends ... what is a good amount of money to spend?

I guess it depends on how close you are. I usually like to get something nice off the registry and then a lil something personal. Under $200 though for just a friend.

I usually spend between 75 and 150...obviously my best friends would be at the higher end. But if its a coworker shower that I'm not close with outside of work, then about 50.

When Ive been a BM we've always gone in together on something really big. Then again I always like a lil something personal. Do what you feel comfortable doing though...

If it's a random person (co-worker or someone I'm not particularly close with) I usually spend about $50.
If it's a close friend, anywhere between $100 and $150.
Anytime I've been in a BP, the BP has chipped in and gotten one big item off the registry. It's usually about $200 each.
