How much do you spend on a dress when you are going to a wedding?

I have to find one for a wedding next month.

Between $100 and $200 unless it is a family wedding where I am going to be in the pictures.

Ya know I am not really sure. I always seem to find the best deals with dresses. (I have too because I always have to have them altered because they are too long on me) I had back to back summer weddings 2 years ago and I found the perfect dress that was about 30 dollars and I received a million compliments about how beautiful it was. It was lavendar with spaghetti straps and the material was that really nice airy summer material. I wore the dress to all 3 weddings (different people) and till this day I still get compliments from friends of how beautiful the dress was and the color looked fabulous on me.

I also had a formal affair and found an amazing black spaghetti strap dress with silver in it. It was that slinky material and so elegant looking. I had my hair all done and my makeup looked perfect. I got that dress at Mandees and paid 25 dollars for it. Again another dress nobody had a clue on where I got or how much I spent. I also got to wear it to 2 other formal affairs

So I really dont know how much I would be spending on a dress as I always find great deals on dresses that are under 50 dollars.

I want to go to this store to find a dress. They always have gorgeous dresses in the window. I tried to go yesterday but they were closed.
I'm afraid to see how much the dresses are.

Im the same, its not about how much I spend, its about how lucky I get finding a cute dress at a great deal!

Once I got my mom a GORGEOUS dress w/ blazer. it was over $150 retail. It was on the clearance rack for $13 at Macy's !! the cashier almost fell over.

I usually spend about $100-200. The last two I bought were closer to the $180 range but I have been having a hard time finding stuff I like and I have a ton of weddings so I will get good use out of them.

Try Macys and Lord and Taylor and Bloomies sale racks. I have found great dresses there for like $50!

$100-$150 but I get MANY wears out of them! One dress I got about 6 weddings out of.

Another dress not only did I get good use so did 2 friends & a cousin!

I've spent 200 bucks on a dress, as well as 6 bucks on a dress!!! It all depends on whether or not I find one on sale! =)

i would say between $100 - $150. i just found a gorgeous black dress in L&T for the RD, but they wanted $220 for it - and it was already on sale couldn't justify spending that kind of $$, so i'm going to keep my eye on it, and hope it goes lower.
