What's the cost of one bridesmaid dress for your wedding (or if you've been in a wedding recently) before tax, extra fabric & alterations?

I'm letting my girls pick out whatever dress they want in the same color at David's Bridal. Its impossible to get any of them together to go shopping, and they are a little spread out all over the place, so I figured that is a place they can all get to on their own. So, I guess they'll spend anywhere bet 100-180 tops. I didn't get my dress there, so unfortunately no discount for them!

My girls dresses are Bill Levkoff and they were $250 but included alterations! I got them at Amelia's Bridal in Mt. Vernon in Westchester!

$128 before taxes and alterations. I had a bunch of girls drop out due to money issues before they even knew the dress price, so I felt I had to keep it cheap. I think I got a good deal though cause the dress is beautiful and I would have picked it anyway.

MINE WERE 310 FOR THE BM AND THE MOH WAS 420 (MY DAD IS PAYING FOR MY SISTERS DRESS) WITHOUT ALTERATIONS OR TAX. MY FRIENDS PICKED OUT THE DRESS AND DECIDED THEY WOULD RATHER SPEND MORE ON A DRESS THEY WOULD REWAER. ILOVE THE DRESS AND ORDER MYSLEF ONE IN BLACK!

Mine were $160 including tax - alterations were extra but I think are capped at around $75.
I was able to have the dresses price-matched. They were $200 originally.

depends. my girls are all getting different dresses but in the same color. one got her dress for $50 and some others are looking at ones around $120. we'll see the final price whenever they get around to ordering.

i have been a bridesmaid in 2 weddings. for one, the dress was 145 before alterations and the other was 220.
