I paid $1050 a month for a two bedroom basement apartment in Setauket (Suffolk) when I first got divorced. I lived there for 8 months.

Mine is just under 1k sq ft - it's a one bedroom, first floor in Huntington - for $950 all inclusive. I think he could get $300-350 more for it easily.
For a 2 br, I would say it would start at $1100.
Is this a private residence or an apartment complex? Did you check the paper for comparitive pricing?
