How much does a fire place mantle cost?

We are looking for one and have no clue of the cost. Where can I get one besides fortuneoff's?

It depends upon what you are looking for....very ornate, type of wood, marble, etc.

My parents got a really nice one in Middle Island for about $750. at ummmmm I think its called 'All Things Remembered'? It's off Jericho and they get shipments from all over, with new things all the time (furniture, etc.)

Nothing too ornate..something plain, simple and cheap..but, thanks for your info..

I think your talking about 'Once again Home Furnishings' they are at the corner of 112/Middle Country Road in Coram. They have beautiful ones at good prices. Also, you can check out any fireplace store.

Where are you located? I know of one in Farmingville and Patchogue.

Some lumber companies sell mantles & fireplaces.

I know Kleet in Huntington has them. We looked at some of their more ornate fireplaces and I think they were around $1300. I would imagine a simple colonial style mantle would be much cheaper.

i used to work there!!! (just changed jobs last week lol)

they have them there.... and there really is an enormous variety of styles, prices, etc... you'd have to go to a store and really ask them to see... but im sure basic ones wouldnt be crazy expensive
