It can get kind of pricey..I would say a minimum of $30 per person with apps, dinner, dessert and beer wine and soda.

The absolute cheapest place we could find that included drinks and a nice dinner in NYC was about $50/pp. Its probably 1/2 that in LI.

we had ours at a Chinese restaurant and it cost us about $800 total for everything...including drinks for 30 people!
Everyone loved the food too!

I would also guess about $30pp. It probably greatly varies, so you should call around if $$ is an issue.

I also spent $50 a person but I had like a 7 course meal. You can def find something cheaper.

We spent about 36$ per person (in Suffolk) and that included beer, wine, and soda...

Ours is soup to nuts - $35 pp ... no tax. We're having about 28 people ... nobody except family, BP & their guests. We're having it @ La Cisterna in Mineola ... Angelo is fabulous!!

We are paying $45 pp at Co-Co's in Huntington(beautiful!). We are using their new banquet room, with open bar, buffet dinner and dessert included.

I have seen variety of rd's.... a cook out bbq if in June at FI parents house with franks and hamburgers or an elaborate dinner in the W hotel costing near what the wedding was. The bbq was more lovely. I think rd should be VERY SIMPLE-IMO, the cheaper the cuter. It should totally be intimate and cozy. Our wedding is on Saturday night. On Friday, FI and I are taking our immediate families and grandparents, brother and sister out for Thank you dinner- say a prayer and toast before all the craziness, bless our families coming together.... Friday, RD... I want totally simple--- maybe a cozy dinner in FI Parents house with BBQ.... We could do it around the pool. Even an open house or something....

I had my rehearsal dinner at the Huntington Hilton Hotel, in one of their meeting rooms which they decorated BEAUTIFULLY (including bringing in trees and lightings, and centerpieces). We had the room all to ourselves, and had it for four hours! And, for 50 people, it was only $1300 (so that's around $26 per person), and it was a sit down dinner, with appetizer, dinner, dessert, and soda (no alcohol). Absolutely beautiful, and well worth checking out!!!
