How much does everyone owe...

30 days before the wedding date? I did the math yesterday and my heart stopped!!! Including DJ, vidoegrapher/photographer, limos, flowers, hair/makeup, and ceremony music, I need to have $11000 cash!!!!! Is anyone else this high???

I had a meltdown in September when I started adding up what we owed

I am so glad I am having a relatively short engagement. I am always seeing such awesome ideas on this site. I would have spent so much more if I prolonged getting married

I will pay the limo, Dj and photographer little by littl so its not that much in the end.

A little more than that. The final is big, not to mention all the vendors that want cash at the end.

i don't even want to try and add mine up...and my wedding is in 2008! knowing me i'm going to spend like a foolish person!..i'm afraid i want to move the wedding up because i'm afraid i'll find more things to spend money on...i'm already trying to keep myself on a short leash and it doesn't seem to be working

i'm not sure but i did pay off the limos, hair, makeup, vanderbilt for pics, all but $100.00 to the photographers, all but $600.00 to the florist and they are getting another $200.00 this week (I'm paying them in cash so I wound up spending less money), the officiant is paid in full, and just the hall so it's not to bad. tip money with out the banquet manager is about $550.00.

We added ours up and it's in that ballpark. I think we estimated somewhere around 9K - 9500.

We decided that we're going to start paying off those that we don't owe that much to, like the DJ and the Officiant, and pay everyone else extra installments between now and March so that we don't get as hard as a hit that last month up to the wedding.

My G-d, we owe upwards of 40k, but that includes the honeymoon. So much for my small, low budget wedding...lol. Originally we wanted <100 people, & wanted to spend about 20k

I paid everything in cash in advance, however I did forget about tips! Luckily I got an early wedding gift from my MIL!

Thank goodness it's all saved already, or I would be washing dishes and babysitting on weekends.

i just finished sending out all my final payments, and i cannot BELIEVE how much money we just parted with. i cried all the way to the post office.

we have about 40,000 saved so when its time to pay the bills, we will just be depleting what we already have...no debt for us was our hope and looks like we will be able to stick to that

we have money put away and thank God my mom and dad are making the final 'bulk' payment on the hall. but i originally said i didn't want to spend a lot of money or go crazy. now looking at it, this wedding is costing us $40k!!!!
