How much does luggage typically go for???? W/ link to pic!!!

So ladies!!
What is the average price of luggage? I'm looking for a carry on... Large suit case and a medium sized suit case. OR maybe a medium and smaller one along with a carry on?? IDK yet!!

I went to do my registry yesterday... and we didn't get too far with it... BUT I found this luggage set that I fell in love with!!!

FH says it's not practical... and he might be right... but I'm not always practical... sometimes I prefer the cuter things in life!!!! It's a Diane Von Furstenburg set and it's gray suede and silver. I just LOVED it!!! I couldn't stop staring at it. We didn't register for luggage... but we are DEF going to be registering for luggage!

I just don't know how much luggage typically runs for and the set seems a bit on the pricey side. But it's soooooooooo pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to search for pics!!!

It is very pretty luggage. I say put it on your bridal registry and see what happens. It is a good investment and something you will use for years.

That luggae will definitely go on sale for 50% off. My luggage goes on sale every few weeks.
The only downside is that you just have to hope whoever buys it for you will buy it at the sale price.

I think you should put it on your registry!

I'm most likely going to put it on my registry. BUT i'm hesistant for a few reasons... the price (but I'm feeling better about that now that I'm getting some feedback from my LIW brides!!) AND the suede factor!! I'm nervous it will get all messed up and ruined. BUT it does have a 10 year warranty so it should be durable right? It's also DVF so from that I feel it should be durable as well! IDK!!!

OMG it is beautiful! Who cares if it is practical!!!!

Put in on your registry, and see what happens. People might chip in together to buy it for you. And if you register for it at bloomingdales they give you a discount before your wedding on luggage if not purchased instead of waiting until after b/c they know you will need it for your HM.

with the way the airlines manhandle and beat up luggage it's a shame to buy expensive and pretty luggage. first time at the baggage check and you'll cry when you see it. DH used a 22' first time and the pull out handle was ripped out on one side when we retrieved it.

You might want to do some google searches for that particular luggage and add word complaint to see if anything comes up.
as for durability you might want to also google for something like best brand luggage, least complaints, sturdiest.
we did this when we bought but I forget the results - - sorry.

we found the best prices at Marshall's or Kohl's when they have a sale with their scratch offs to get xtra 20 or 30%.

we both have a 22' that meets carry on sizes and a larger 26' and a carry on tote like one. we mix and match depending on how much stuff we need to bring with us. I also have a 28' one but that is so big I rarely use it.

forgot to say that the prices were betw $80 and $120 for all the sizes ( at 50% off sales). we have samsonite, skyway and Delsey

I looove this luggage. I might add this to my registry. If nobody buys it atleast you get a percentage off if you decide to get it yourself. These are nice carry- ons

I love it, great color! We have a DVF luggage from Macys' on our registry, my parents already bought us 2 pieces. I love it!!!

I don't know if this is all DVF, but my luggage is now discontinued and has a limited quantity available. I really feel it wasn't on my registry that long when this happened. Now we will have to mix and match our luggage. I would just check to see when it came out. If it's a newer line you should be fine!
