FH and I are doing a donation in lieu of favors for the wedding, in memory of my dad....I dont know how much we should donate, if you girls could let me know how much you think is an apporpriate amount I would love it! Thanks!

I am doing donations as well and I am going to do about 2-3 dollars per person. I believe you base it on however much a regular favor costs.

i agree with PP - you should make the donation the amount per person that you would spend for a regular favor. If you were planning on spending 3 bucks per person on a favor, you should donate those 3 dollars per person. I'm doing donations too - I think they're the perfect gift!

We have about 200 people coming and we were going to make a $1000 donation.
I'm kind of clueless on how much we should do....

I'm doing the same thing (for both our fathers). We are going to give $3 pp. The average seems to be $2-3 pp.
