How much for limos?
I was just wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark idea of how much they were paying for limos. I have no idea what is normal. Thanks!

Re: How much for limos?
What kind of limos are you thinking of getting? How long do you need them?

Re: How much for limos?
We are paying $2500. We are getting a Rolls Royce (to start at 1:45 p.m.), 2 - 10 passenger Lincolns (both to start at 12:30, to pick up FI, ushers and FILs in LI to drive to Bklyn for church)and 1 - 8 passenger Lincoln (to start at 1:45 p.m.). Also, at the end of the night, we are getting 1 - 10 passenger Lincoln (to take IL home), the 8 passenger Lincoln (to take my family home to Bklyn) and a car for us. Also on Monday (the day we leave for our honeymoon), we are getting a car to take us to the airport.

Re: How much for limos?
What kind of cars do you want? There's a wide range of prices-from 10/12 passenger stretch Lincoln up to the custom cars. How long? Most limo companies price for a 3 hour rental (usually with 15 minute 'grace' period). After that, you'll start racking up overtime costs.
Check out M&V Limo's website (www.mvlimo.com) and click on weddings. This will bring up a price list so that you can get some ideas.
I found that all of the limo cos. that I called came down in price once I went to meet with them.
We booked Royalty Limo in Franklin Square.

Re: How much for limos?
i booked with mv limos and was very happy with the price....we got two 12 passenger cadillacs (which are a bit pricier than the lincolns) and a rolls...plus, free pickup after the wedding and a free trip to newark airport for our honeymoon...the total came to around 1400....they were very easy to work with!

Re: How much for limos?
In case you are interested in an SUV......we booked with M&V also. We're paying $1200 for the stretch hummer. The Navigator and Escalade are a little less. It's probably way too much to spend, but it one of the only things my FH wanted

Jenny,No I haven't gone for a ride in one before. I do know they run a little louder because it runs on deisel though.
My FH was so keen on the stretch Hummer I didn't really care.

Re: How much for limos?
OMG!!!! I can't believe how much the limos are. We weren't planning on $2k plus for that....We don't really need a lot of cars, since the ceremony and reception are at the same place. I guess I need to sit down this weekend and really figure out what I need.

Re: How much for limos?
The majority of our wedding party is from out of state and their dates don't know everyone, so we wanted to keep everyone together. We got a 32 paassenger 'limobus' from Regency (they advertise here!). Take a look at it - its amazing! I'm so excited about it! We're having a morning wedding so they gave us a discount, $800 plus 20% gratuity. Normally its $975 plus grat.

Re: How much for limos?
clpunch-my best friend has her ceremony & reception at the same place and is not getting limos at all. might be something to consider, it will save you a good deal of money.
