How much are you (or did you) pay for your make-up to be done the day of your wedding? I got quoted $175 for me and $75 for each additional person. The woman is coming to my Mom's house where I'll be getting ready. Does that sound like alot to you?

It depends on who you are going with. The prices range. Check out other artists because there are ones that are less than that!

i usually dont wear makeup so for me thats alot to spend.. but its your wedding and if you really like the m/u artist then thats your choice

Depends on what they're doing? Does that include the lashes? What about the gloss she's putting on you? Do you get it so you can re-apply?

OMG---I never even thought about lashes or keeping the gloss. Great, more things to remember to ask!!!

My makeup artist was pricer, but worth EVERY penny! She charged $300 for me, and $100 for each additional person. SHe came to the house and did 9 people. She really is amazing. Her website is www.nyweddingmakeup.com HTH

The girl I am considering is pricey but you also have the option of having her stick around for touch up which is exactly what I am doing - I want to look perfect the entire day

It sounds fairly average. I've been quoted as high as $395 to as low as $100 for day of, traveling to the bride.

sounds average, but that said, i think what these make-up artists charge is INSANE. $300 for make-up? ridiculous...
i spent $150 for my hair AND make-up at a salon and my make-up was flawless all day. . . .
If you can, go to a salon and get a trial...they are usually 50% cheaper than people that come to the hosue... that said, though thep rice you got seems reasonable for them coming to you.
