I am getting prices for the offiicant and was wondering what everyone else has paid?
When I mention the price to others, they are surprised how much they are asking.
Whats the average?

on LIW i've seen the prices range from about $350-700
we are paying a little over $400 for ours. she's awesome. her name is Rev. Angela Heil, and i just adore her.

I;ve seen anywhere from $350 to $1000 It depends on how in demand they are and how far theyt ahve to travel. fdor example rabbis willing to co-officiate at aninterfaith wedding (esp if they're willing to bend rules) seem to take a high price

We paid around $475 for Pastor Mike and he was worth every penny. So many people thought we had a previous relationship with him and were stunned to realize that we'd only met him a few times before the wedding! I believe he usually charges $375, but we paid an extra amount for him to travel to Westchester. His website is www.pastormikeweddings.com.

We are having an interfaith wedding and we are having two officiant’s. I made some phone calls to rabbi’s and priests and they were giving me a quote of $700 - $850. When I heard this I almost threw up. This much money for 30 minutes – out of control. I called my catering hall (Westbury Manor) and they gave me a phone number of the officiants they recommend. I got a cantor and deacon for $700.00. YEA – this is more like it!
