I haven't priced out the cake yet, I am first going to see what is included from the RH and then decide from there
i will be using which ever cake is included in our RH

Well, ours is in the price for the RH. HOWEVER (a BIG however) if the hall can't do it for whatever excuse they give us ( like the fondant and detailing) than we might have to look else where. I think its ridiculous to spend over a $1000 over a cake, so I am working with the RH to see what they can do and how close i can get it to what I want.
You know what I was just thinking? Do a small wedding cake for you and FH to cut for picture purposes and than also do a sheet cake, which be the same filling, keep it out of sight and have your RH cut the cake in the kitchen and serve it your guest! You can save so much money that way!!!!! And noone will know! It could cut the cost close to half!

ours comes with the rh costs. We are going to just take that one because we hear their cakes are delicious...i hate fondant anyway so I dont mind that they don't do it
