My girls are starting to talk about mine...I don't know how much say the bride has - I don't want to step on any toes, but I don't want to contribute too little either.
What do you think?

its different for everyone. Some like it a surprise, so we maintain it that way.
Me, I know most of it, some I requested and really wanted.

Ok cool. It can't be a surprise for me because we're having it in Washington DC so I have to take off work.
So I should leave it up to my girls to decide where we should go? Thats fine with me - after living there for 4 years with half of them, they know the kinds of places I like Thats totally fine with me for them to make the decisions - one less thing I have to do!

No stripper here either. As far as the rest of the party goes, I do not want my friends going to great expense on either the bachelorette party OR the shower. Though Id like to go to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. They do too so it shouldn't be too bad for one night.

I will give my MOH some ideas for what I would like. Since she and another BM are in NY, and I'm in VA with the rest of my friends, we might do 2 parties.
