How much is a DOC?

I have contacted three and the lowest so far was $600, the highest $800 (discounted from $1,100).

I am wondering if it is worth it, what do they actually do?

my DOC (i haven't booked her yet, that's next on my list) is 600 and she is amazing (my sister booked her and met with her)-- check out BHB or the 06 board (along with bride's reviews) to see what other's have to say about rosalie-- people RAVE about her and she is so nice!!

she makes the entire day go smoothly-- she even comes to rehearsal to make sure everything is set-- she intro everyone to each other (BP members) and goes over with them how to hold the bo-ks best, how to look best in the pics, tips, etc, how to walk right, not too fast.
before the wedding she confirms all of your vendors, does all the legwork, and the day of the wedding she is there from minute one until she is waving you bye in the limo! she makes sure your photog takes EVERY single must take pic from the list, that the band/DJ plays every single must play song and does all the announcements, she is there for any major catastrophe that may arise and she does a MILLION other things that i can't even remember (She gives you a full list).. and is there for any need, request, problem, concern.

she has helped my sister so much already. one major thing she is doing for me is placing ALL of my menu cards i am having made up at everyone's place setting... b/c my hall won't do it for insurance reasons (they only provide two menus on each table) and i want one at each setting, and if there is a day wedding that day before me there is like a 30 minute window to set them up and she'll be there to do it so i don't have to worry about a thing!!

it's a small amount to pay to make sure i don't have to worry about all the 'i have to remember' things... she will take care of it all and then i don't have to give out a million jobs to BM's, family, friends (like setting up the menu cards, etc)... i dont want anyone else to have to do a thing but have fun at my wedding so that's why i love her so much. once you meet with her-- that's it!! she is amazing. i'm very organized and i never thought i would need a DOC but no matter how much organizing you do-- there's so many things to remember and you want to sit back and enjoy your day not be worrying about things getting done.

I can't remember off the top of my head if it's costing me $700 or $750 but regardless Francesca of Dazzling Affairs is worth EVERY penny

I 've only hired her as a DOC and she has already done so much for me. I highly recommend her. She has lots of great reviews on the BR thread.
