Church - $700 (estimated, i wont know until January )
Paper Items (STDs, Invites, Programs, Menus, etc.) - $750

Only because we have a small guest list ( 70-75 ppl) and because we are doing it on a Thurs. We were quoted 70 pp for our night, but if we had done it that Sat it would have been $130 pp. It really depends on your guest list # and the day of the wedding.

I am paying less than $65 a head for 50 guests (thats my minimum) and for a Friday night reception (cocktail hr at 7pm). Total cost would come to 5 or 6K...

OMG, I refuse to perticipate in this thread! Seeing all the $$$$$ at once is too scary right now! But, I'm working on getting under the $2500 I originally was going with for flowers!

i spent several months researching RHs and prices. The basic points for getting good prices is

1. when is the wedding (Iwhat time of year?)
2. what DAY is the wedding (Sat night is always the most expensive), and
3. how many guests are you inviting? ($80/pp if you have 100 guests comes to $8K alone but if you only have 50 guests, thats 1/2 price at $4,000).

Major wedding season is from April - October (give or take a few weeks at each end). RH prices plummet for the months of Jan. Feb and early March because of the weather.

So yes I can see how RHs can cost easily $15-30K for some couples and only 5-10K for others. I plan to have less than 60-70 people at mine (crossing fingers) and we booked a Friday night which was cheaper than my original wish for Saturday.
