How much is normal for Officiants to charge??

I have gotten quotes of $800 and $1000 for an interfaith wedding on long island.

Is this normal???

i've heard anywhere from $500 - $1000

Mine is under $400. We are doing a simpler ceremony and our officiant doesn't charge extra for traveling to our venue. Some do because they are based west and our venue is past Riverhead.

I LOVE Pastor April! I just met her for the first time last week ... What a sweetheart! SO far, I think she is the best, and if she is charging 400-500, anything higher (to me) seems like a lot ...
