HOW MUCH IS TO MUCH

HEY GIRLS

I AM LOOKING INTO BRIDEMAID'S DRESSES, AND SO OF THE DRESSES ARE A LITTLE PRICEY :EMO3. SO I WAS WONDERING
HOW MUCH ARE EVERYONE BRIDE'SMAID DRESSES

I'm in my friends wedding this July...we paid $155. Our dresses are from RK bridal in the city.

I want to say the girls paid $171. NYCMeghan is my MOH so she would know a little more having coordinated this for me.

I think they are around $150 or 160.

My bridesmaid dress was 170 plus 65 for alterations!!! plus 50 for shoes and then still have to dye it and pay for hair and makeup - another 150!!! THIS STUFF ADDS UP!!!!! And STILL didn't get jewlery

I'm getting mine from netbride.com
It's only 123 buck...I've checked in bridal salons and the least expensive I found was 178 for the same exact dress. They have great prices...you just need a reliable seamstress.
I know BMs pay for their own dresses...but do they pay for the shoes, accessories, etc? My sister was a BM for a wedding last summer and she paid for everything...except for the jewelry which was given as a present by the bride.

I got Lazaro BMs dress, the salon wanted $280 for them, I am ordering them through bridalmarketplace.com for $193!

I was lucky, and found a perfect set of After Six dresses for $25 each. (The bride who ordered them originally decided she didn't like the color and ordered a different set.) Personally, I think around $200 is the magic number. Anything above that is getting to be 'too much' in my opinion (but if theres something you love, you could always subsidize the dresses).

The girls are taking the dresses to their own seamstress/tailor. 4 of them are from out-of-state, so it's not worth it for them to have alterations done on the Island.

I think anything under $300. (including alterations) is reasonable.

my girls will be between $140 and $160 depending on the top that they choose. i think anything under $200 or so for the dress is reasonable. they still need to buy shoes and undergarments and maybe get their hair/makeup/nails done plus buy a shower and wedding gift. it adds up for them!!
