I was just told that our church wants $800! Plus they don't allow aisle runners...

The membership fee for my church is $200 per person (but we don't both need to be members of the same church as long as one of us pays the membership)
Organist will be extra $, small fee for rehearsal, donation to church is also extra
aisle runner is allowed and so is rice-throwing outside the church!!!!

We actually just paid out church last night at rehearsal and they wanted 400. 800 sounds like a lot!!!! My sister got married at St. Helen's and I think she paid 500.

Offering is $500. Organist is $100. Singer is $75. Pre-Cana through the diocese was $250.

We're getting married at the RH and it's $1000 between the fee to the hall and the reverend's fee.

We are getting married at the RH too- and its 375.00 for use and flower canopy and extra flower baskets and 175.00 for the minister. not bad my church wanted over 2000.00

$650 including organist and vocalist $75 pre cana Optional donation to officiant (who is a priest but not of this parish) but FILs know him well and say they plan on a whole additional $500 - which seems like a lot to me but whatever.
ETA: No aisle runners, no throwing anything inside or outside church (e.g., rose petals).

our 'donation' is $1030. The church isn't his home church (I'm not even a catholic) and at first I was like 'are you kidding' but it would have cost about the same to have it at the hall when you factor in the ceremony fee and the officiant fee and tip.
oh, the cantor and organist is included
