I know we recently had a thread with the cost of officiants, I am trying to figure out if $500 is reasonable, can someone bump that thread if they have it, I couldn't find it in search.
If noone has it, can I bother you one more time to let me know how much your officiant cost? ANd who are you using, I need NON religious.

Our officiant is $500. We are using Rev. William Britton (http://www.clergyoncallministries.com).

$500 is reasonable.
ETA: As a Student Cantor, my fee for a wedding is $300. When I will be a full-fledged Cantor (8 months away!!), my fee will be around $600.

I did a LOT of shopping...I wanted the right person...not necessarily an inexpensive one...I found the norm to be $500.

We are having the ceremony at my church & the cost is $450. Plus we have to tip everyone :o(

We're using Rev. Joe DiVincenzo. He's an interfaith minister/reverend and was recommened by East Wind. (We're getting marred at EW). His fee is $500.

that's a good question. I don't think my FI ever asked. Our officiant is the priest from his firehouse so hopefully he won't charge us to much.

I am using a catholic priest, Rev. Salvatore Umana. His fee is $400.

$400. and that was with a few pre-wedding 'counseling' sessions.
Rev. Paul Ratzlaff. He's a Unitarian minister so basically non-religious.

My pastor married us at the hall and because I am a church member there was no fee.
