Save the date magnets ($125 for 200 (for magnet, envelope and computer program)) menus($30 paper and frames) the long multi-layer program with bow ($150 for 100)
total $305.

Finding LIW the last few months before my wedding definitely gave me some great ideas which of course costs more money. I did slipper baskets (which my guests LOVED) and the photobox, which came out great. I also discovered this site while looking for pics of planting fields arboretum. Seeing some wedding pics from there made me realize that I definitely wanted to go there before the ceremony. I had to get a permit, which added onto the costs, but it was totally worth it. However, LIW also saved me money. We made our own programs (a special thanks to divabride for her help), which saved a lot of money. And, most importantly, LIW gave me peace of mind, great advice, and made my wedding go more smoothly by giving me things to think about and check on before the wedding.

The slipper baskets by the time Im done will cost me a couple hundred - maybe about $250 but I will use the baskets again.
I havent started my photobox but lord knows!

If it weren't for LIW I never would've done slipper basket, we do letters, bathroom baskets, monogrammed aisle runner, menus. And I'm sure there are other things I can't think of right now.
But I wouldn't say that LIW cost me more, it's prob actually saved me $$ since they're DIY projects that I otherwise would've had to buy.

I agree. Although LIW has given me tons of ideas for things I would've never thought of beforehand, I think in the long run, it's saving me money because I'm getting a lot of DIY ideas AND I'm learning about more affordable vendors that I wouldn't have learned about on my own.

I can't vote on your poll because I think LIW actually SAVED me money!! I learned to haggle and I learned how to DIY for alot of things that I probably would have spent money on instead.
I also probably would have spent ALOT more on my photographer but I found them here and saved big time.

I completely agree. Plus I found vendors on here that were much cheaper than finding on my own.
And if anyone has read any of my posts, you would know how much of a wedding illiterate I am since I ask prolly the dumbest questions, but do I care not really...my wedding is going to be fabulous 'cos I'm an LIW gal!

Well, right now my only extra is the slipper basket and I'm still negotiating with FH for that (maybe 250?) and I have to think about petal cones...so whatever those cost. LIW has saved me the most important thing- MY PEACE OF MIND!! I am rushing planning and have a packed work/school schedule so using reviews on here kept me away from some vendors! Plus, I feel better about the ones I've chosen- esp my florist! Even tho I'm also spending more on my BP gifts (that's more theknot.com) even if it comes to 1000 extra I'm still happy.
Now the lost hours of sleep spent on the computer....well....

The wedding is over and I have to say THANK GOD for LIW!!!
My husband, said every night I came home with a new project to do.
I will post lots and lots of pictures I promise and my reviews, but this site Rocks!
I will miss it now that the wedding is over and I have nothing to do :)
