My dress was on sale for $200 off so it was a little over 1,000 with tax. But it would have been about 400 or so more if I didn't get it on sale.

Re: How much on your dress?
So far about 3500 but that's not including alterations. It makes me crazy that we spend so much on this thing which we are only wearing for like 6 hours! I told FH I am prancing in my wedding dress on our 1 year anniversary and my friend who just got married wants to have a wedding dress party. It will be a party for the girls in their dresses. Just like on Friends.

About $3,800, and that was with 10% off, but I'm in love with it so, it's worth it!

Re: How much on your dress?
The dress itself was 975, but with tax, alterations, bustle, and veil (no headpiece), it's going to come in around 1700.

Mine was $3800 retail but we got about $500 off. However, alterations are another $550 and the veil another $300. Sigh

Re: How much on your dress?
You should change the poll answer. 1000-5000 is a big range. I would do 1000-2500 and 2500-5000. With all the accesories and alterations, I will probably be at 1500. JMO, but get a dress you love, but are not going tobreak the bank over. It's a dress you are going to wear for 10 hours (if that). As my mom would say, 'I know you will look good in any dress you try on.' Just make sure you feel good in it.

Re: How much on your dress?
Wow... I really am the cheapest.. Mine was only 850 for just the dress... then after alterations and all itll be about 1050... The bridal shop has a 250 cap for alterations, I have my veil, and my MOH is getting my head piece... and I already have a slip from my prom... Soo.... there we go. LOL

Re: How much on your dress?
A significant amount. You don't have to go spend a lot to have a beautiful dress. You will know once you have it on...
