How much per head for RD?

hi callan! it does seem high, but my experience over there is that eating out is ALWAYS expensive. you either get chips from the chipper van for 3 euro or else you go out to eat and usually pay a lot. eating out every night is not a custom over there unless you're in a big city and so restaurants are usually a 'special occassion'.. and often expensive. i would say that 35 euro would be about right.... and i am going to venture a guess that they're not including open bar as that is not a custom over there.

i would factor in the cost difference between that and what you're paying per head (to the hotel only) for your wedding dinner. if it's a lot less, you're probably in the right ballpark. if it's close, i would see if you can find anything else cheaper.

Actually its a pretty ritzy place-- so thats why i think it is so expensive. I think we are going to call up the local pub and see what they could do for us!
