How much rent would you charge??

For an upstairs apartment in Suffolk County..One large bedroom..den/kitchen combo.. 1 bathroom...large closets

Depends on the area. If it's an area where it's very difficult to find an apartment you can charge more than in an area where everybody rents anyway. For an upstairs 1 bdrm apt (not including utilities?), in a decent area, I would think you can charge at least $700.

I live in an upstairs apartment (top of someone house), It has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, living room/kitchen combo (and a storage room). I pay $825. He probably would charge higher, but I was a friend.

In Suffolk County - You could probably get $1000 for a one bedroom apartment.
I can't believe the amount it can cost to rent - may as well have a mortgage - People charge phenominal prices for the smallest places.

We based our apartment price against other similar apartments we read about in local papers, like pennysaver, yankee trader, suffolk life. Definently depends on your neighborhood.
