How much $$ should I ask for back

How much $$ should I ask for back

I have had alot of problems with my invitation vendor. The first shipment was on the wrong number cardstock and the paper wasn't cut evently and wasn't raised print (the raised print was my fault).

The new shipment was much better but it took longer than they said and they forgot the envelopes to the RSVP cards which had to be redone. Because I am under the gun with timing I had to sent out the invites with the original envelopes where the spacing was messed up.

They have agreed to refund me $$ for the envelopes but asked me what I thought was 'reasonable.' I paid about $8/invite so I have no idea as to the amt. I would ask for.

Thoughts?

$6 per invite would be better....I would also ask them to reimburse you for any shipping you have paid.

I would want it all back but I feel a tad but greety when I get angry.....but I would say 50%

I would want back at least 50%.

I just went through a problem with an invitation vendor also (Rebecca @ Wedding invitation design) and she refunded the full amount of money back. I never recieved my invites period.

She also messed up another brides order by sending her the wrong color invites and refunded the full amount of money back too.

Ask for 50% back but be prepared to negotiate for less if the vendor refuses.

I would ask for 50% and all shipping fees for the mess ups. They may hggle a bit, but I would start there.
