How much should I budget for alterations?
I got my gown at Macy's so there is no cap.
I will need a bustle and I know I will need the bodice taken in in a few places. I will not need a hem since I did a HTH when I ordered the gown.
Any thoughts? I just want to get an idea so i can start setting the money aside.

i'm not really sure but it usually depends on the number of points in the bustle.
i was told my alterations were capped at $495 and the bustle could be anywhere between $95-295 depending on the number of points.

both my dresses are samples and i'm getting my dresses altered at a salon. mine's going for 500+

I got my dress at Macy's too, they said there's no cap but about $150 for hem, $150 for bodice, and $85ish for alterations
