my friend and next door neighbor made necklaces for the girls in my bridal party. She made 9 necklaces total 7 for the bm's and 2 necklaces with guardian angels for the fg's.
I went with her to pick out all the beads and I paid for them $225. We made a couple changes and she had to buy $80 more of beads.
She hasn't said how much she wants for making the necklaces. What do you think would be a good amount to give her??

that's a tough one...maybe like 10 per necklace since you paid for all of the supplies (plus the 80 she laid out)??

Is she expecting you to pay her? If it were me, I would give her a gift certificate for a mani/pedi

She is a stylist and she is very slow right now. she mentioned recently she needs money so I am thinking she does want cash.
I like your idea. Originally I was thinking of a certificate to a favorite restaurant.

Give her cash nowadays people want cash especially if she told you things are slow. Just ask her how much do I owe you for everything.

I would definitely give her cash, 80 for the extra supplies and 10-20 for each necklace depending on how complicated the beading was.
If thats too much then at least 50 for her services and 80 for the extra beads
