How much should I spend on............

Bridal Party Gifts. We have 1 MOH, 9 BM, 2 JBM, 1 FG, 2 Bestmen, 11 GM & 2 RB.
YIKES!!!!!! I don't know how much to spend on each of them???? Of course I would splurdge a little on the MOH & Bestmen. Need Advise! Thanks!

I had 1 MOH, 6 BMs, 1 Best Man, 7 GM. No FG or RB.

On my MOH, I probably spent about $100. I got her her satin stole, necklace, earrings, claddagh silver bangle bracelet, and a silver purse.
For the BMs, I probably spent $45. I got them necklace, earrings, and the silver purse.
For the Best Man and GM, we spent about $25 each. We got them engraved white brass bottle openers. But my brother, who was a GM, also got a pair of silver claddagh cufflinks for $30.

For parents... I got my dad the same bottle opener and silver cufflinks, so about $55.
My mom: all her jewelry that day: $150 probably
MIL: DH spent about $80 on a stained glass picture frame
FIL: We got him one of the bottle openers. He's not big on gifts

we are having 1MOH and 2 BM, 1BM and 2 GM - we spent about $60 on each. The girls are all getting Anne Klein watches and the guys are getting Gaelic Football Jerseys (they are all from Ireland).

The RB (5 yrs old) and FG (18 months) are both really young. I may give my brother a $50 bond for each of them and buy some misc. toys for them to play with at the reception.

I got my three readers all picture frames from Target about $8 each.

Not sure what to get parents???? Any suggestions??

That depends on your budget, you have a pretty big BP. We have 5 BM's, 5 GM's & 2 FG's. We are trying to stay in the $40 range for BP gifts, less on the FG's:

BM's: Haven't got their gifts yet, still looking for jewelery for them to wear that day but also that they can wear again, preferably something sterling silver. We are also burning CD's for them. Once I get the main part of the gift purchased, I will try to fill in with little items like lotions, etc. depending on how much I spend on the jewelery.

For MOH (My Sister): she's getting the same but I'm also paying for her makeup & hair that day

GM's: We bought bar sets & martini glasses from Pier1. They are also getting special CD's & we'll probably throw in martini recipes/mixes or something.

FG's: Probably pearl jewelery sets & little pocketbooks or something. I already bought them books on being a FG.

Our Parents: Picture frames (We can't think of anything else)

2 readers: Lenox Bud Vases (bought on sale from the Tanger outlets for $14!)

Program Attendant: My FBIL's GF will hand out programs at church so I'm just getting her a gift certif. for a manicure at the salon she goes to as a little something.

You spend what you can afford..there is no set limit..do what you can. there are lots of ways to be creative ona budget. It depends on each individual situation..nicer gifts may go to parents who paid for the wedding, than for those who only paid for things like invitations. etc.
The main thing is do what you can afford!!

we have a really small bridal party - so i am spending about $100 on each of the bridesmaids....not sure about the MOH. and the groomsmen probably between $50 -$75.
honestly though - it's not the amount..it's the thought and the appreciation that goes with the gift!

Thanks Everyone! I was thinking about $50 each on bridal party, then maybe $100 each on MOH and Bestmen. They are such good friends. We would like to show them how much we appreciate them sharing our special day with us! It is so nice to have such caring and loving family and friends! Thanks for the ideas, I am going to have to start putting something together!

Im hoping to spend about $100 on my MOH and $50 on the BM. Same for the boys. But I only have 1MOH, 1BM, 1JrBM, 1BestMan, 1GM

I have:

7 BM and spent approx 125 on each
1 MOH - about 2x the BM gift
2 JrBM - $60 each
1 FG - $40

6GM - varied - between $60 and $125
2BM - $200 and $150
1RB - $50

2 ushers - $50

2 readers - $60 on one, the other I didnt' get a gift for yet

Parents - didn't decide yet

i am doing $50 to $75 per person, and more on MOH/best man..

but id say to spendmore if theyre buying like $300 dresses and contributing to the shower
