I'm having a make-up trial done, it's her business and she's coming to my house. How much is appropriate?
IMO tipping depends on how satisfied you are with the service. I would also keep in mind that if she owns the business, there is no middle man for her she makes all the money she gets and doesn't have to part with any of it unless she has other people working for her to do your trial.
The guidelines say if they own the biz, no need to tip. But I think if you're happy with the service, then you can give like a 15% tip.
I always tip the average 15-20% for these services as well...
