My husband and i are both in my Sister in laws wedding in June. How much do you think we should give for a give, She paid i think $50-60 a person. my husband thinks we should give $500 then sd he thinks that was not enough. I never had a sibling wedding to attend what do you think a good amount is?

I know my brother was planning on giving us $2000 for our wedding, but he is always SO generous to us. He and his wife - and their son (my Godson who I spoil like crazy) - are all in our wedding. (the only reason I know this all is because he already gave us half our gift to help with closing costs when we bought our house).
I think anything about $500 is a personal choice depending on your relationship with her and how generous you want to and can afford to be. HTH!

My sister in law( DH sister) And her husband and son ( DH godson) were all in our wedding. Ann was BM Pete was Best man and Jason ringbearer. And they gave $300.

In my sisters wedding my other sister and I gave her a gift that cost $1200. I think $500 is enough.

well siince you are getting married too and trying to pay for everything it sounds like anything over 500 dollars would be too much. But I mean I guess you'll get it back at your wedding, lol

when my fiance and I were in my brothers wedding in 2002 we gave $350, but we were only just 21.
If I had a sibling wedding to go to today, I would give $500

i think 500 is fine..if thats what you can give. My sister had me in her wedding and i gave 400 but that was 3 yrs ago and honestly thats all i had to give! if i was in another sisters wedding well again i guess id have to give the same bc im sure it will be said...but id think if it was me and my fi in the wedding id go w. maybe 500-600 might not be alot to some ppl.....but we also have our wedding to pay!!
I would say $500 or more depending on the relationship.
That said, you should only give what you can afford.

I got $500 from my SIL and sister. My brother who is younger gave me $150. I think all were generous. I also know that neither one of them can really afford to give more, so I was grateful. It depends on your financial situation. I think with siblings you give whatever you can afford.

It depends how much you can afford. Typically, we give family members more. A sibling would get the largest amount I could give possible. At least $500.

We had DH's neice and nephew in the wedding (not his sister and husband b/c we only had MOH, BM, FG, and RB) and she gave us $300. I wouldn't be that generous (to give $500) with my SIL only b/c I don't care for her too much and DH isn't that close to her.It depends on your relationship with them and what you can afford to give.

If $500 would not break the bank for you, then that's a fine amount to give to a sibling.
Which seems to be accurate at least in my family, since that's about what I gave my brother, and what both of my brothers each gave to us.

My sister didn't give us cash, but paid for all the wine at my wedding. I'm guessing that ran around $700-$1000.
I think $500 is fine if that is all you can give (it is pretty generous).
