How much should we give to someone whos having a 2nd marriage
my cousins second marriage is on sunday, and fh and i were discussing how much we should give them. we normally give 300. a little more if we are closer friends with them..we owe some big checks coming up including rent for the month, so we are unsure of what is appropriate to give. tia!

hmm if they're doing the full blown wedding shebang, i'd say stay in the $250-300 range IMO
if it's like a dinner reception, you'll be ok with $200

my sisters MIL is getting married again in November. This will be her second marriage. when she came to our wedding she gave us $300 so I will have to return that to her. but i think that is an appropriate gift.

I'd give the same amount to a second marriage that I'd give to a first.
