How much time between end of ceremony and reception?

How much time between end of ceremony and reception?

This is our schedule:

Ceremony - 4:30 (45 minutes long) ends at 5:15pm

Cocktail hour - 6:00pm

Reception - 7:00pm

So we basically have 45min between. Is that too short?

No. Our Church is about 5 minutes from our RH. Back home (Canada), there is usually 3-4 hours in between the two, so 45 minutes to me is VERY strange

Ugh......this is the dreaded question. As of now, we have too much time. Church ceremony is at 3pm (less than 1/2 hour) and CH starts at 6:30 (and is about 45 minutes from church). We can start CH earlier if our RH does not have an event that afternoon. Since we have so many OOT guests we got a coach bus to take them from hotel to church to RH, but will not know what to do with them during a 2 1/2 hour break .

I wanted to make sure I had enough time to take pics at OWG.

Ceremony 1:30-2:30
CH & Reception 6-11
The church and rh are about 1 1/2 hours away from each other so I am glad we have the time.

If there's only 5 minutes between both Church and RH, you might be OK. Where are you taking your pics?? Are you doing that beforehand?

If there's only 5 minutes between both Church and RH, you might be OK. Where are you taking your pics?? Are you doing that beforehand?

We are doing all the pictures (with out each other) berfore the ceremony. Then the rest of the pictures after the ceremony.

we're also 5 min away from the RH, and only have about 45 min... I was wondering the same thing.... too little time

ceremony at 2 PM
cocktail hr at 6

We are taking pics at the church, on the way to the reception and at the RH. We want to make our cocktail hr, so we are giving ourselves PLENTY of time.
