how much time for photos & where

how much time for photos & where

I have 2 questions:

1) how much time are you alloting for photos b/t church ceremony and reception?

Right now, I have a 3 hour gap between the end of my ceremony at the church (with receiving llne factored in). I wonder if that's enough time to take photos at the church, and then 2 other sites (I had my heart set on Grand Central Terminal since the church is downtown NYC and an additional outdoor location).

The reception will be in Queens, near Queens Blvd & Roosevelt Ave so not too far off of the LIE or 59th St Bridge.

2) If there's enough time for a 2nd site other than GCT, what would be a good logistical spot to take photos (other than Central Park, where we took our epics already). I'm not familiar with Long Island City, are there any spots there we could take advantage of?

The reason I now want an outdoor spot is because we are booking an old fashioned checkered cab and I want to take advantage of having it for some photos.

TIA!

BUMPing to put it back on the 1st page because I really need the help and am debating on whether or not to spend the extra money on the checkered cab

Maybe Bowling Green or Battery Park if you're already downtown? There's also a pretty small park at Tudor City near the UN.

In my opinion, I would rather you take a picture at your church, then one outdoor place, and the last one at your hall. And also remember the traffic in the city.

I think you will be very exhausted if you want to take a pictures at 2 diff. places though.

by the way love your e-pictures..

Thanks, Nadia. Love yours too! You guys are so adorable together, where did you take yours? Loved the lake ones and the ones with the trees and green grass!

You're right, it might be too much to have 2 locations. Just have to decide if the checkercab means more or less to me than GCT.

I'll look into the park near the UN...it's not that far and should be right on the way to Grand Central, right off of the FDR, right? Do you know what the cross streets are? Thanks!

If you're already downtown, maybe the Seaport? There's also Gramercy Park on your way up to Grand Central (although I'm not really sure what the rules are there).
