besides the honeymoon, how many days before and after is he taking off from work (if he is at all)?

We are taking off the exact same time. 3 days prior then 2 days after the HM
10/29 off- fly to NY 11/01 wedding 11/03-11/13 HM 11/17 we return to work

3 weeks total, 2 for honeymoon and 4 before the wedding since his family/friends will be arriving that week and he hasn't seen most in (what will be by that time) 3 years. I will be too. I saved up enough time!

FH is taking 3 1/2 weeks! I am only taking 2 1/2. He can take alot more time at his job than I can...

Well he has tons of vacation saved up so probobly week before ( we get married on friday) we arent leving til tuesday for our HM and we come back that tuesday so 3 weeks total maybe more.
And im off b/c i teach.

We are doing a 2 week honeymoon. As far as prior to the wedding.....i'll be lucky if he gets off the day before with his job!!! (in a perfect world i would like him to be off Thursday and Friday for our Saturday wedding) we'll see though!

We are getting amrried on a sunday, so he is not taking off any extra days before. He works monday - friday, and will be home at 11:30 friday mornign, so no extra days off is necessary. If he worked 9-5 I would have ahd him take off on Friday.
As it is right now, I am still not sure if I can get off on Friday before, since Payroll Taxes are due 10/31 and Individual returns are due 10/15.

FH is a firefighter so his schedule is flexible. I'm doing most of the preparation so I don't see him taking more than 2 days before.

We haven't really discussed if he is taking any time off before the wedding...we're getting married on a Sunday so he probably won't.
I am taking off a total of 2 1/2 weeks.

Wow...you girls are so lucky to be able to take longer HM's. My FH could only take 1 week for vacation...we might be able to squeak and extra day out. So...he will only take Friday (1 day before) and then 1 week for HM.

I get 4 weeks paid vacation a year, and I'll probably have 2 weeks carry over from this year, so I'll probably take the week before off and the week after for the honeymoon, but don't know whether I'll take time off before returning to work, too. FH, as of now, will be able to get the week of the honeymoon off, but I don't know how much he'll take off before the wedding. Maybe he'll take that Friday off (Sunday wedding). It's the trade-off he gets for making a buttload more money that I do - I get the perks, he gets the cash!

luvsun.. im in the same boat. He'll probably take off maybe two days before the wedding but at least that friday. We are still not sure if we're having our honeymoon ($$$) then or the next year. Either way we're both taking the week afterwards. That's about it.
Me, I dont know. I get 13 days of vacation. So I'll probably use around 8 days. 3before and the week after.

who knows....knowing him he'll work that day (probally will work the day before). At least he will be out of my hair!!!
only work until 2 on thursdays, and I plan of talking off friday (wedding is on a sunday) Depends of what we decide for honeymoon. I want to leave on honeymoon tuesday (day after labor day), and take off 2 weeks, returning on wed (so don't return to a full week of work)

Me- Last day of work is 10/16. Wedding is 10/19. Not returning to work until NOVEMBER 3rd
FH- Leaving work 10/17. Returning to work 10/29- he's crazy!
