My photographer said that an hour should be enough for all our family posed pics and bridal party pics. We both have small families and a small bridal party so this could be why to.

patken said they can get their pictures done in 1 1/2 hours...

old westbury gardens sells time slots in 1 1/2 hour periods.. the lady there said most photographers are done in that time

It depends on what you want, how big your families are, BP, etc. Your photographer should be able to answer this for you...and better, should be able to work within any time frame.

I am not having a ton of formal posed pictures. that is why I hired my photographer.
but anyway he told me our pictures could be done in 30-60 mins.

I want to be at the cocktail hour, also we aren't getting married in a church, any ideas of what we could do?

hey thanks everyone! I'm definitely stressing the time. our church says since its a sunday wedding we can only have our ceremony at 3:30 and I don't have a definite time for the reception so am trying to get an idea for how much time we'll need.
