Not to sound cheap but don't you think $3-5 is a lot for someone who is with you just for a few hours. Some of your other vendors have been with you for months and may continue to be with you for months in the future and they do not get that much. I don't get it.

I have no idea what the correct answer is - but could they ask you to tip that way because they are tipped employees? Well waiters used to make about 2.90$ an hour so they relied on tips - do MD's make less money b/c they figure they are tipped?
