I have some rooms I'd like to paint...but not much time. I have NO IDEA how much it would even cost to have someone come in. Has anyone had this done? What were you quoted and what sizes were your rooms? TIA!
My dad is a painter. It depends on the size of the room, features of the room, type of paint, amount of prep that needs to be done to the room and the type of finish that you want. Your best bet to be honest is to get a couple different estimates and see where they come in.
I'd also tell you to get a few estimates. Prices range but it can be costly. My mother priced out getting two bedrooms in her cape painted and it would cost about $800-1000.
FH and I just painted 2 rooms in our condo. Bedroom and living room. It cost $300 for the Benjamin Moore paint and primer to do it ourselves. We were told $900 to have someone do it! I am so glad we did it ourselves. It was like a second job for a while, but it looks just as good (I think!).
