My sisters best friend is getting married and FI and i were invited but cant go bc we have my really good friends wedding the same night in Montreal. So i am sending back the RSVP w/ a check. How much do you think i should send? I def wanna send money and not a gift bc i went to the shower and gave her a gift then. TIA

I usually give $50 if I'm not going and it's not a close friend. If you're closer I would give $75-$100

100 sounds good but don't send it with the RSVP. Send it shortly before or after the wedding.
