whats a typical amount of $ to spend on each person i your bridal party? gm's and bm's?

I have no idea. I spent $125 on each girl. $80 on each guy. $500 on my maid of honor (but she is my sister). No idea about the best man yet.

I am up to about $100 on each and I have 9 girls plus a maid of honor. I am going to be so poor after this wedding :(
I did hear that between $75-$100 is normal. I did realize after I bought stuff that I should have bought tickets to a concert and brought everyone and did something special.

well bff---- You spend what you think is right. You might spend less on the little girls (just get them something they will like) and more on your sisters. I got my sisters something different then everyone else cause they wont enjoy what I'm getting the older people in the bridal party. Don't need to go crazy. Go to places with sales and use coupons.

I guess it's up to you and what fits into your budget. I'm definitely not spending more than $100, I'm paying for other things for them.

I'm a bad bride LOL. I will probably spend around 50/girl, 100 for the MOHs because I plan on getting them each a restaurant cert for 50 in addition to their jewelry, tote, and toiletries. GM...god only knows, FH doesn't think we need to give gifts lol.

i am spending about 100-125 on the BM's and something extra for my MOH on top of that... i have 12 girls all together so i definately will be poor after this, lol... and the guys i am not sure but we are thinking of only getting them a tie for the day of wedding plus a money clip with their name engraved and that is it... so maybe like im guessing 50 bucks on each guy??

and the 2 little flower girls and ring boys i am spending about 100 bucks on each flower girl and maybe like 75 bucks on each ring boy.. ahhh, shoooot me -- lol!!

I dont know yet.. probably round 100. Speaking of gifts. I was told recently and then read that it is rude to give the BM's their jewelry as a their gift now a days? That this USED to be customary but now it isnt really considered a gift to benifit them and say thank you, since it is something given with the intended use for YOUR day and and serves a purpose for you not them?! Anyone heard of this? It makes sense in a way but still, I was planning on getting them their jewels but now I dont know if I should anyone else heard of this?

I disagree with what you read... Jewelry is something that they can continue to wear not just on your wedding day. I got my girls a swaroski necklace and I don't even care if they don't wear it for my wedding. I thought they were beautiful and wanted to get them because it's a nice necklace. It certainly can be worn on my wedding day and many many days thereafter... I don't agree with the thought that jewelry should not be given because what girl doesn't love jewelry?!?! If you want to get your girls jewelry, I say go for it... I think that they will be grateful for anything you give!

We're guestimating between $150-$200 per BM & GM and between $250-$300 for the MOH & BestM. And that's just for being in the BP. I'm also buying the BMs. MOH & my mom a gift for throwing me a shower. Probably around $100-$150 each for that.
