I just signed up for home delivery for every day... how much do I tip the person each week? And do I tip weekly or less frequently? Thanks.

My parents get home delivery -- but then again, so does EVERYONE in our neighborhood... I don't think they tip weekly - I think they get an envelope a few times a year - a thank you card and some cash.

I get the paper only on Sunday's and I tip her a dollar. I think it's a lot but not sure how much to tip either. I feel weird giving less.

I'd give him maybe a dollar a week (for delivery all week).
I mean if it was a paperboy on a bike or such, that would be another story. This is a grown man chucking papers from a car.
I'd say a dollar a week though.

I don't know how true this is but I heard that they don't get the tips that the money goes to Newsday. So I don't tip my delivery person but she does put a card in the paper around Christmas time with her home address on it. So I tip her then.
