how much was your lasik eye surgery

I have an appointment on thurs but i just wanted to see what everyone else paid so i get an idea.

Mine was $3500, but my brother's was $5500 ot $6000 with same ddoctor just the newes laser - that is for both eyes - My other brother was $7 or 8 thousand because he had to have two procedures - knew it a head of time - he had the worst possible astigmatism (no clue how to spell)

There are a lot of variations even with the same doctor

I believe standard price is 2000-2500 per an eye for the more reputable places which i advise because a women who works my mom cut corners and now cannot see out of one eye -sorry to sare you but get as many recommendations for the surgeon that you are using

My family all used Dr. Donnefeld and all have 20/20 or better vision now

sorry so long - but i spent a ton of time really researching even after my older brother had done it

My DH paid $3000 aprox last year for both eyes. He has better than 20/20 vision.

this is very true - my optometrist showed me pictures of the difference between a $750 per eye job, and a $2500 per eye job. Under magnification, the cheaper doctors really scratch up your eye which makes it more difficult to correct the surgery or have it done again if needed. My surgery was about $2500/eye.
