How much was your tiara? (with poll)

Just wondering because I am sitting here about to buy my THIRD tiara, and wondering if maybe I am better off spending the money this time, as it seems you get what you pay for....

Janna - the first one has that gap thing going on at the bottom. Ya, know, the upside down 'V' syndrome, but I like it better than the other one.

Here's my lowly take on the subject.

I didn't do too well on the 'ordering online' thing... I did better with going into the store, trying on my dress and picking out the tiara... i can't wait for it to come in. it wasn't what i THOUGHT i'd want, but once you try it all on, it sealed the deal.

i say... go for the one you REALLY want.... as long as it doesn't put you in the poor house. you'll spend just as much returning or reselling the ones you don't want!

I did so much 'in store' searching, that I pretty much know what I need to look good on me and with the dress.

I need something with crystal or rhinsteones, about 1 1/2' - 2' high, with a peak in the middle or a triangular shape to it, and the design has to be close together (no big gaps or holes) and nothing too circular, because the circular ones looked silly on my head.

The ones in the stores are twice the price of online for the same tiaras, thus the reason I am checking online. And the one I bought that is crooked, I bought it in person!! I was just too stupid to notice it!

Mine was $95.
I know everyone suggests it, but have you gone to Barron's in Tri-County? I went to a few bridal stores and looked at tons and then went there and got exactly what i was looking for, for about $20 cheaper than the other stores. I felt that i had to try them on rather than just buy one that looked good online - they look different when you get them on your own head!

$10!! It is perfect for my dress, I think its a knock off of the one the bridal salon was trying to sell me

Nada... I am borrowing my cousin's. She was crazy and spent way TOO much on it, IMO. At least I will get to take advantage of it... it's beautiful.

eBay...mine was about $40...I loved it, but most importantly, my husband (a total guy!) loved it!

Mine is custom, made by Denise Leli. I fell in love with it regularly $750 got it at her trunk show w/ one- tier veil and blusher for $600. It is no comparison to what I have seen.

$249 and I am still unsure if I want to wear a tiara at all. I should of went to Thomas Knoell.
